This single origin shade-grown coffee is from Charbanta Cooperative in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. Charbanta only produces natural*, sun-dried* coffees. Please thank these farmers.
*The bean is unwashed, or natural, meaning the fruit (coffee cherry) is left to dry on the bean before being removed. This process imparts a unique flavour profile.
On the label is an Ethiopian Ibex boating over to Whiskey Rock—a landmark close to the St. Joseph Island bridge—to meet his friends (see Ethiopia Sidama Natural label). Painted by Heather Hoffmann.
